Finally the Pho craze has hit Singapore! Nam Nam Noodle Bars are sprouting up all over SG like mushrooms after the rain. I won’t call it the best pho I’ve ever eaten, but I’d say that at least it helps temper my cravings. I’ve always had a pho craving when the weather is rainy and cold… it brings back such happy memories of Oz.
A variety of condiments
If you’re eating their dry noodles, use these liberally to doctor your dish.
That mug! *heart* and is that instant pho i spy in that cupboard?
Pho Pork Balls
*Sigh* Yes to the Pork Balls. It was lovely. The soup base was alright – nothing to shout about. The noodles fell short of that silky slithery goodness that the ones in Melb have.
DH was aghast at the lack of taste, and used up most of the condiments trying to make this more edible.
Crispy Fried Prawn and Pork Rolls
Not memorable. Rather dry and hard. Not something I would order again.
I tried the Pho Chicken as well, and the meat was tough! Another no-no. In conclusion, the soup noodles and banh mi are the safer options if you must eat here.
